We recently took a team trip to Jaipur, India, to visit our suppliers and production partners who are based there. Located in the Rajasthan state of northwest India, Jaipur is famous for it's pink hued buildings and rich cultural history.
The end of January / early February is a great time to visit, with the weather being pleasantly warm and dry, a lovely escape at this time of year for those of us from the UK!

Famous for being a sweet shop, go through to the restaurant at the back with it's 1970s vibes, we recommend ordering the Thali which is a number of different curries, breads and accompaniments. Delicious.

Masala Chai tea
Milky, spiced, sweet tea - buy from a vendor in a classic terracotta cup. Yours to keep!
Thali - a large tray filled with tasty little dishes of curries, a great way to sample an array of flavours.
Milk Cake - a bit like fudge, this super sweet, milky treat is a great ending to a meal.

Tuc tuc ride. Don't miss out on jumping on a tuc tuc for a slightly hair raising journey across the city, recommended for quick & easy, shorter trips. This fabulous shop is a great spot to get something made, bring your favourite garment, choose your fabric from a huge selection and it'll be ready in a couple of days at a very reasonable price. Also has a good selection of items that you can buy on the spot.
